BuggleBlog it!

Cabernet Sauvignon

Dancing Bull (2003)
Tried this at a tasting.  Haven't had a bottle yet, but was quite impressed with the sampling.

McWilliam's (2004)
Another tasting sampling.  As a white, this really was an enjoyable opener.  Will definitely have to have a bottle & record additional experiences at a later date.

Pinot Gris

Gallo Family Sonoma Reserve (2005)
Ok, perhaps I don't have the palette for pinot grigios.  This was seriously all about cut grass & grapefruit.  If I could take away stars here, I would.  No stars.  This will not be a repeat.

Pinot Noir

Red Bicyclette (2005)
Kristina tried this at a tasting.  She actually really enjoyed it.  I, on the otherhand, wasn't initially thrilled.  However, after having a bottle about the house, Kristina & I were both very pleased with this selection.  I thought it was quite excellent, especially for beginner palates.  It wasn't dry at all; and, it had a really smooth finish.  We'll definitely have this again.

Ironstone Vinyards (2003)
This is by far my favorite Shiraz to date.

White Zinfandel

Beringer (2005)
Actually, in the summertime, there's nothing quite like a chilled bottle of this zin.  The melon really stands out.  You forget you're drinking wine.
